• Become familiar with the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission. The Compact focuses on supporting military children and their frequent relocations. It allows for uniform treatment of K-12 military children that move between the states. It can assist with enrollment, eligibility, graduation, and placement.

• Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP):  For families with special needs, we have the Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP), to help provide non-medical case management, link families to installation, and community resources, including service providers that take Tri-Care.

FREE TUTORING FOR MILITARY FAMILIES:

• All K-12 children in National Guard, Reserve and Active Duty Military families are eligible to receive individual academic support 24/7 regardless of the service member's branch or deployment status.  Help is available in 16 subjects including algebra, physics, history, grammar and essay writing--plus AP classes and test prep.  Whenever they have questions, students can get step by step homework help or they can ask a tutor to just proofread their work.  Tutor.com provides this service to military families at no cost through funding by the Department of Defense MWR Library Program, the Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program and the Navy General Library Program.
